1. Terms & Conditions of Attendance
Effective Date: 14/10/25
By purchasing a ticket or attending a Boot n Scoot event, you agree to the following terms:
1. General Admission
All attendees participate at their own risk. Boot n Scoot takes reasonable care to ensure events are safe and enjoyable; however, we accept no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except as required by law.
2. Ticketing
Tickets are valid only for the date and location specified. Boot n Scoot reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful.
3. Refunds & Cancellations
If an event is cancelled or postponed, all reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule or refund ticket holders. Refunds for change of mind are not available unless required by the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Photography & Media
Events may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. Attendance constitutes consent to appear in images, unless you notify staff or contact us before or during the event.
5. Safety
Please wear appropriate footwear and take care on uneven surfaces. Follow all directions from event staff, security, or emergency personnel. Children must be supervised at all times.
6. Weather & Outdoor Conditions
Outdoor events may proceed in variable weather. Attendees are encouraged to bring weather-appropriate clothing. If safety is compromised, Boot n Scoot may delay, relocate, or cancel the event.
7. Alcohol & Conduct
Where alcohol is available, service will comply with local liquor licensing laws. Responsible service of alcohol applies, and intoxicated patrons may be refused entry or removed.
8. Liability
Boot n Scoot, its staff, contractors, and volunteers are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property unless caused by proven negligence.
9. Changes
Boot n Scoot reserves the right to alter event programs, artists, or venues due to unforeseen circumstances.
2. Refund & Cancellation Policy
We understand plans change. Here’s how refunds and cancellations are managed:

Event cancellation by Boot n Scoot: Full refund or credit toward a future event.

Event rescheduled: Ticket remains valid for the new date. If you can’t attend, contact us within 7 days for a refund.

Attendee cancellation: No refunds for change of mind or inability to attend unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Extreme weather: Outdoor events may proceed if safe. If unsafe, the event may be postponed or refunded at our discretion.

Processing: Refunds (where approved) will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
3. Accessibility & Inclusion Statement
Boot n Scoot is committed to creating inclusive, welcoming events for everyone.

4. Safety & Security Statement
Your safety is our priority.
Boot n Scoot works closely with venues, councils, and local authorities to ensure all events meet Australian health, safety, and crowd management standards.

All electrical, staging, and lighting installations are inspected for compliance.
If you notice anything unsafe during an event, please alert a member of our team immediately.
5. Photography & Media Consent Notice
Boot n Scoot loves capturing the energy and joy of our community events.
By attending, you grant permission for photographs or videos taken at the event to be used for promotional purposes (including social media, website, and media releases).
If you prefer not to appear in media, please:

Email fun@bootnscoot.com after the event with details of the image or context.
We’ll always respect your privacy and remove images upon reasonable request.
